faculty of arts 139 Candidates for higher Degrees who are required to take qualifying Honours papers at the Examination will pay fee of 24 guineas for the first year of their course Ph For Registered Honours Graduates of the College -£15 15 per annum For all other students -£22 Is per annum The normal course extends over two years but for students required by the University to devote longer period to the course the annual fee will be so adjusted that the total amount payable is £31 10s under or £44 2s under When the prescribed period is exceeded fee of £3 per annum is payable Secondary Teachers' Training Course -£42 per annum This fee is reduced to £33 12s in the case of students who are Registered Graduates of the College The fees under Β and include fees for Library Union Society Athletio Ground and some games subscriptions Sessional fees other than the fee for the Diploma in Geography may be paid in equal terminal instalments on payment of an additional £1 Is the first term The fee for the Diploma in Geography may be paid in two instal- mente and if so paid will be £15 15s in the first term and £14 14s in the second term Fees for other Courses and Special Classes Research Work other than Degree Work -A registration fee of £1 lis 6d per annum is charged together with such other fee as may be fixed in each case in view of the amount of work involved Separate Classes Occasional Students pay fees on the following scale unless other- wise stated in the Syllabus of the Class £1 lis 6d per term for one hour week or £4 4s per session for one hour week Institute of Historical Research £4 14s 6d per Session or £2 2s per Term for each of the first and second Terms and £1 is for the third Term for classes or Seminar of one hour's duration held weekly and half these fees for classes held fortnightly Registration Fee -A fee of 5s is charged to Occasional Students on the occasion of their first entry to the College in any Session
