72 PRIZES The Prizes consist of books or instruments the first to the value of £5 and the second to the value of £2 5s The Prizes are open to regular students in the Faculty of Engineer- ing The First Prize will be awarded upon the results of the second part of the Examination for the Degree or Diploma in Engineering to the regular student who shall have most distinguished himself in Civil Engineering The Second Prize will be awarded to the regular student who shall have most distinguished himself in the subjects of the first part of the Examination for the Degree or Diploma in Engineering VII -DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION Ubomas Mall pri3es These Prizes were founded in 1930 by the Thomas Wall Trust Each Prize consists of books or instruments to the value of £2 One Prize is open to men students and the other to women students in the Department of Education The Prizes will be awarded annually on the result of special test in reading and recitation In making the award the manner in which candidates have used their voices during their teaching practice will also be taken into account
