58 PRIZES For names of present Prizemen see reference under "Prizewinners in Index -IN ALL FACULTIES WITH THE EXCEPTION OF LAW Self flfce&ale ant Self fl ri3e The Jelf Medals were instituted to commemorate the services which Dr Jelf has rendered to the College by Bronze Medal to be given annually in each Department of the College and School Medals are at present awarded in the Faculties of Arts Natural Science Medical Science Engineering and in the Evening Department The administration is in the hands of the Council of King's College The Medals are awarded to the Student of the Third Year in each Faculty who shall in the opinion of the Principal have most distinguished himself The Prize in the Faculty of Theology is awarded to the student who having been at least three years in the College shall in the opinion of the Dean of King's College have most distinguished himself in the Faculty The Prize consists of Books to the value of Ā£2 II -FACULTY OF THEOLOGY -Prizes in Divinity open to all Regular Students of the College Barry pri3es The Barry Prizes in Divinity were founded by the Friends and former Pupils of the Right Rev Alfred Barry formerly Principal of King's College Prizes are now offered in the Faculties of Theology Arts Natural Science Medical Science and Engineering These Prizes are administered by the Council and the regulations at present in force are the following Each Prize consists of Books to the value of 28 The Prize in the Faculty of Theology is open to all regular Students and is given to the Student who passes with most distinction in the Examination in the Prayer-book at the close of the Easter Term The Prizes in the Faculties of Arts Natural Science Medical Science and Engineering are awarded to the regular Student in each Faculty who has attended with regularity the general Theological Lectures open to all Students of the College and in the opinion of
