FACULTY OF MEDICAL SCIENCE 197 Second Examination for Dental Degrees Held in July and December Part Anatomy Physiology and Prosthetic Dentistry including Metallurgy Part II Special Anatomy Special Physiology and Dental Histology For the Courses of Study for the Third and Fourth Examinations see the Prospectus of Ring's College Hospital Dental School Courses of Study for the Licence in Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons Candidates for the Licence in Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England are required to pass Preliminary Examination in General Education and the Pre-Medical Examination in Chemistry Physics and Biology before commencing their Dental Studies Candidates who produce evidence of having been registered by the General Medical Council as Medical or Dental Students on or after January 1st 1923 will be considered to have passed both these Examinations The Regulations require Candidate to have been engaged in pro- fessional study for period of four years before admission to the Second Part of the Second Professional Examination The First Professional Examination is held three times year in January or February April and September or October and is usually completed at the end of the second year of study FIRST PROFESSIONAL EXAMINATION Part Dental Mechanics Part II Dental Metallurgy Part III General Anatomy and Physiology Dental Anatomy and Physiology For the Courses of Study for the Second Professional Examination see the Prospectus of King's College Hospital Dental School Note -Students reading for examinations other than those of the University of London may be registered as Associate Students of the University under conditions copy of which may be obtained in the College Office FEES All Fees are payable in advance Registration Fees Registration Fee of Ā£1 Is must be paid by each Regular Student upon acceptance by the Dean of the Faculty This fee is non-returnable and in the event of non-entry it is forfeited In addition further
