193 faculty of ADeMcal Science Dean of the Faculty Professor Blaib Ch ice-Dean Professor McDowall Sc Ch Edin In this Faculty Medical and Dental Students receive their education in Preliminary Studies Chemistry Physics and Biology and in Intermediate Studies Anatomy Physiology Materia Medica Pharma- oology Metallurgy Dental Anatomy and Histology The Courses are open to Women Students on the same terms as to men The Courses which may be followed are either those for the ex- animations leading to the degrees of and in the University of London or those for the examinations of other Universities and of the Conjoint Examining Board of the Royal Colleges of Physicians and Surgeons It is desirable that Students taking the University or Conjoint Course should if possible enter at the commencement of the Michael- mas Term Regular Students who have completed their Preliminary and Inter- mediate work pass on to hospital medical school to continue their studies for the final examinations Students registered at King's College Hospital Westminster Hos- pital St George's Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital attend the College for their Preliminary and Intermediate medical studies afterwards proceeding for their clinical studies to the Hospital at which they are registered All Students enrolled through hospital medical school and taking the full-time course at the College for the Preliminary or Intermediate examinations are entitled to all the privileges of regular Students of the College SCHOLARSHIPS PRIZES AND CERTIFICATES Entrance Scholarships -Two or more Warneford Entrance Scholar- ships of £30 year for four years and one Sambrooke Scholarship in Medical Science of £30 for three years will be offered in 1932 At the end of the First Year of study the Rabbeth Scholarships £30 and £15 the Carter Gold Medal and Prize in Botany and the Hare Prize in Zoology are open for competition At the end of the Third Year the Hughes Prize in Anatomy the Huxley Prize in Physiology the Inchley Prize in Pharmacology and the Jelf Medal are open for competition The Layton £150 and the Berridge Research Studentships £100 the Daniell Scholarship in Chemistry £40 Warneford Prizes £25 and £15 Leathes Prize Barry Prize &c &c -are also open to
