FACULTY OF LAWS 149 INTERMEDIATE COURSE ONE SESSION The Intermediate Course is one year's course and prepares students for the Intermediate Examination in the following subjects Roman Law English Constitutional Law and its History English Legal System Criminal Law and Procedure Or Indian Penal Code and Procedure FINAL LL COURSE TWO SESSIONS The Second Year's Course prepares students for subjects II and III of the Final Examination at which candidates will be examined in six subjects as follows General Principles of Common Law II General Principles of Equity III One of the following English Law of Property Roman Dutch Law Muhammadan Private Law Hindu Law Code Civil Fran9ais Law of Palestine Cyprus and Iraq The Third Year's Course prepares students for subjects IV and VI of the Examination viz IV One of the following English Law of Evidence and Civil Procedure Indian Evidence Act and Civil Procedure of the Indian Courts Mercantile Law special subjects to be prescribed from time to time Conveyancing and VI Two of the following Public International Law Conflict of Laws Private International Law History of English Law Constitutional Laws of the British Empire Comparative Jurisprudence Roman Law Portion of the Digest The Final Examination will consist of one Paper on each of the subjects in which the Candidate presents himself and of one paper of Essays on legal and related subjects and ii viva voce Examination in English Law The Examination is common to Honours and Pass Candidates successful Candidates being awarded First or Second Class Honours or Pass Degree Entry Forms and Certificates must be returned to the Academic
