144 FACULTY OF LAWS ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP Scholarship is offered in the Faculty of Laws yearly in April It is tenable for three years and is of the value of £30 per annum for Day Students and £20 per annum for Evening Students The Examination is held by the Intercollegiate Scholarships Board and particulars may be obtained from Mr Ranner Secretary to the Board King's College Hospital Medical School Denmark Hill COLLEGE OFFICE The College Office is open daily from 30 to o'clock except on Saturdays when the hours are 10-1 It is also open during the first month of each Term from to and on each Friday during Term from to Communications should be addressed to the Secretary King's College Strand London PRIVILEGES OF STUDENTS OF KING'S COLLEGE Libraries Students who pay Composition fees become inter-Collegiate Law Students and as such are entitled to the use of the libraries at King's College University College and the School of Economics and to the other facilities offered by these Colleges to inter-Collegiate students The Law library at King's College is open during the Session from 10 to daily except on Saturdays when it is closed at Registered students of the University are entitled to admission to the University Library at South Kensington on the recommendation in writing of teacher of the University Scholarships Scholarships of the value of £50 for one year will be awarded one to the Internal and one to the External candidate who shall distinguish himself most in the Final examination provided he is of sufficient merit not over 25 years of age on June lst preceding the examination and is prepared to pursue an approved course of postgraduate study to the satisfaction of the University Two prizes are offered by the Quain Professor of Compara- tive Law University College one of £12 and one of £10 for the best essays on subjects connected with the lectures in Comparative Law and International Law respectively Candidates must have attended at least two-thirds of the lectures and have worked to the satisfaction of the Professor varying amount of about £120 is awarded in prizes of books on the result of the examination of those attending the lectures on Banking Law The number of prizes is about fifty
