general information 93 GENERAL COLLEGE RULES Students are required to make themselves familiar with the following Rules and Regulations laid down for their guidance and Students shall not be entitled to any of the privileges or benefits of Students unless they duly conform to and observe such Rules and Regulations Fees and Admission of Students Alt Fees are Payable in Advance at the beginning of the Term or Session Refund or remission of Fees can be made only in special circumstances Half-Term's Notice in writing must be given to the Secretary of the removal of Student from the College This notice must be given before the close of the first half of the Term in which the Student is to leave otherwise an additional Half-Term's Fees must be paid All Students desiring admission to the College must interview the Dean of the Faculty which they desire to enter Women Students must also interview the Tutor to Women Students Η admitted the Student will receive signed Schedule which must be presented at the College Office On payment of fees due card of admission to the classes will be issued The admission card must be taken for signature within the first two weeks of each Term to each Professor or Lecturer whose class is attended and no Student will be allowed to continue his attendance after this period until his card has been presented The admission card must be carefully retained by the Student and sent on the last Monday of each Term to the College Office It will be re-issued at the beginning of the following Term At the beginning of each session Students must re-register themselves with the Dean of their Faculty and Women Students must also inter- view the Tutor to Women Students No Student can be admitted to the College without testimonial of good character All those who desire admission as Regular Students with view to proceeding to first degree in the University must have passed the London Matriculation Examination including the subject of Latin in the case of Students in the Faculty of Arts or have gained exemption therefrom Students may also be admitted to the College as Regular Students- For the purpose of proceeding to the Associateship in Theology on passing the College Entrance Examination in that Faculty ii For the purpose of proceeding to the Diploma or Certificate in Engineering on passing the College Entrance Examination in that Faculty in For the purpose of taking recognised Examinations other than those of the University on satisfying the conditions laid down by the Examining Bodies concerned
