general information 87 II -FACULTY OF THEOLOGY THEOLOGICAL SOCIETY Chairman Rev Harold Smith Secretary Rev Moysey The objects of this Society are the bringing together of past and present Members of the Theological Faculty the reading of papers and the consideration of subjects of practical interest The ordinary Membership is limited to past and present Students of the Faculty whether Regular or Occasional and all former Students of King's College in Holy Orders The Dean is President and past and present Professors and Lecturers of the Faculty are Vice-Presidents There are- Weekly Meetings for present Students with papers debates and readings Occasional Meetings at the Hostel for the informal discussion of practical problems Annual Reunion on Whit-Tuesday and Autumn Meeting Occasional Meetings for past Students are arranged in the several Dioceses The Annual Subscription is 3s 6d including payment for the Gazette payable in advance at the date of the Annual Meeting The Society is now affiliated with the Old Students' Association The subscription for affiliated members is 4s 6d III -FACULTY OF ARTS FACULTY OF ARTS SOCIETY President Smith Arts Secretary Miss Turpin Arts All Students of the Faculty of Arts may join the Society on payment of subscription of Is year The object of the Society is to pro- mote social intercourse to provide recreation and to promote the interests of the Students Three Faculty Meetings are held each Term and Faculty teams are entered for the various Athletic Cups All new Students are urged to take an active part in the affairs of the Society Dances are held in the Michaelmas and Lent Terms
