58 scholarships and exhibitions Sambroofee Scbolarsbip Scholarship of £30 per annum for three years will be offered to candidates entering the Faculty of Medical Science Candidates must be under 19 years of age on July 1st in the year of election The Scholarship is open to men and women The subjects of the examination are -Either four of the follow- ing English History Latin Greek French German Pure Mathe- matics or four of the following Pure Mathematics Applied Mathematics Physics Chemistry Botany Zoology The holder of this Scholarship must attend at King's College for the preliminary and intermediate medical studies and at King's College Hospital for the subjects of the final examination The next examination will be held on April 17th by the London Inter-Collegiate Scholarships Board Candidates should apply to Mr Ranner Secretary of the Board King's College Hospital School Denmark Hill for form of entry which must be sent in by March 23rd Scholars 1925 Shorvon Moses 1926 CoheD Isaac 1927 Moodey Edgar Charles VI -FACULTY OF ENGINEERING Sambroofte Scbolarsbip in Engineering One Scholarship of £40 per annum for three years will be given annually out of the funds of the legacy bequeathed to the College by the late Sambrooke Esq The subjects are the same as for the Entrance Scholarship The Scholarship will be awarded at the Examination held by the Inter-Collegiate Scholarships Board The successful candidate will be required to enter the Faculty of Engineering at King's College as an Internal Student of the University of London in the October next following the Examination Candidates must be under 19 years of age on July 31st in the year of election The payments will be made in nine terminal instalments pro- vided the Student continues in attendance as Regular Student in the Day Classes and produces to the Secretary at the end of each term Certificate of good conduct and of satisfactory progress signed by the Dean of the Faculty
