general information 41 There is Daily Service in the College Chapel at 30 On the first day of each Term there is an Opening Service with Sermon at 10 and Holy Communion at 30 On the last day of each Term there is choral celebration of Holy Communion at 30 On the first and last days of Term the hour 10-11 is reserved for Service in Chapel Special Services are arranged on various afternoons and evenings On the Monday in Commemoration Week special Commemoration Service is held at 10 Under the terms of the King's College Transfer Act 1908 the Council is required to provide weekly Lecture in Theology The time-tables are so arranged as to allow any Student who wishes to attend these Lectures but no one may be compelled to do so Students who wish to take the Associateship of King's College must attend these Lectures The examination in Divinity for the Associateship is held on the last Wednesday of the Lent Term from 11-1 The Lectures are given on Monday mornings 10-11 and the subjects to be dealt with will be found in the prospectus of each Faculty THE ASSOCIATESHIP OF KING'S COLLEGE -General All Students of University of London King's College and King's College for Women may obtain the Associateship of King's College under the following regulations They must have attended classes in the CoUege for at least three years as Regular Students They must have obtained Degree in the University of London They must have regularly attended the two terms' course of instruction in Theology in each of the three years' course of study and have passed such examinations or other tests as may from time to time be required All those who have fulfilled the above conditions will receive certificate attesting that they have completed the Course and may apply to the Council to receive the Diploma of the Associateship The fee for the Diploma is £1 115 6d -Theological The Regulations are given in the Prospectus of the Theological Department see 262 For Privileges of Associates see 386 β
