general information 39 III -Hostel for Women Students Warden Miss Dorothy Brittain Sc The Hostel for Women Students is situated at 54 56 and 58 Queens- borough Terrace Bayswater and provides accommodation for 50 students The Hostel is close to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park and is within easy reach of the College It is exceptionally well furnished and contains large dining-room comfortable lounge and reading-room Provision is made for full board on Saturdays and Sundays and for breakfast and dinner on other days and the charges vary from £60 to £70 per Session according to the room selected For conditions of entry regulations and terms application should be made to the Warden King's College Hostel for Women 58 Queensborough Terrace Bayswater IV -Queen Mary's Hostel Campden Hill Although primarily intended for Students of the Household and Social Science Department other Women Students of King's College will be admitted if there are vacancies For particulars apply to the Secretary of King's College for Women Household and Social Science Department Campden Hill Road REFRESHMENTS Luncheons Teas and Light Refreshments at very moderate prices are provided in the Refectory which is open from 10 30 to 30 COMMON ROOMS The Arts Science and Theological Students have united Common Room the Engineering and the Medical Students have separate Common Rooms allotted to them in the College Women Students have Common Room and Reading Room STUDENTS' LOCKERS For the use of Students lockers are placed in the Corridors in the Lobby leading to the Anatomical Department as well as in some of the Class-rooms Drawers are also placed in the Drawing Class-room II Each Regular Student is entitled to have one of these lockers or drawers allotted to him for the period of his Academic Course provided this does not exceed five years deposit fee of five shillings is charged and will be returned to the Student upon his leaving College
