319 Stubent Xibrariansbip Student Librarian is elected annually for period of one year The emoluments of the office are 12 guineas term and the duties consist of attendance at the Library for not more than 20 hours week during term to issue books and to exercise general control of students using the Library The Student Librarian will be under the general direction of the Librarian and will be expected to read for higher degree Applications should be sent to the Librarian 1907 Hacker Henry Pollard 1910 Hacker Charles Frederick 1913 Philpot Albert John Sc 1914 Oakley Percy Dale Se 1915 Day Percy Wilfrid 1916 Williamson George Sc 1916 Hussey Frances Lesley ר 1917 1918 King Kenneth Malcolm 1919 Perrott Margorie 1919 Chew Helena Mary 1920 Whiting Winifred Α 1921 Elliott Raymond 1922 Acum Thomas Bthelbert 1923 Curtis Samuel John 1924 Harmer Lewis Charles 1925 Humphreys Gordon Stephen 1926 Hawkins Cyril George Sc 1927 Chrimes Stanley Bertram Stu&ent Demonstrators Professors may each year with the approval of the Faculty nominate for appointment by the Delegacy as Assistants for the ensuing year in their respective Departments such students as satisfy the following conditions Candidates must be Students who have completed with distinction the third year course of study in the subject in which it is proposed they should assist but ceteris paribus Regular Students will have the preference Their duty will be to assist the Professors and Demonstrators both in the day-time and evening at lectures and in laboratory teaching and they must be prepared to give such time as may be required to this work during the year following their appointment They will however have time for their own studies and for pursuing original research under the direction of the Professors and Demonstrators They will have no emoluments but will be charged no fees They will be officially recognised in the documents of the College as Student Demonstrators
