236 EVENING DEPARTMENT College Occasional Students are those who while not attending the whole course are desirous of studying some particular subject or subjects Those Students who have passed the Matriculation Examination of the University of London should on entering the College register as Internal Students of the University Registration Schedules can be obtained in the Office and should be completed within one month of entry Special Intermediate Examination is held at the College for Registered Internal Students Regular Students are not as rule admitted to the College until they have passed the Matriculation Examination or its equivalent There is Special Class in the College under the charge of Rev Harold Smith which is intended to prepare Students for the London Matriculation and other Entrance Examinations For particu- lars see separate Circular which may be obtained in the College Office All Regular Students are eligible to become Associates of King's College and to compete for scholarships and prizes Certificates for proficiency are given under the rules in force in the various Faculties The Classes advertised are those for which arrangements have been made but it must be understood that in case of there not being sufficient entries for any class it will not be formed All Fees are to be paid on entrance and may be sent by post but before this is done an admittance form must be obtained personally from the Sub-Dean and presented at the College Office On payment of Fees due card of admission to the classes will be issued The admission card must be carefully retained by the Student and sent on the last Monday of each Term to the College Office It will be re-issued at the beginning of the following Term At the beginning of each Session Students must re-register themselves with the Sub-Dean of the Evening Department Students who decide to withdraw from course of study should give due notice of the fact to the Sub-Dean Those who withdraw from Courses without due notice having been given will be held liable for the usual fees No Student can be allowed to make any change in an approved Course without previously consulting the Sub-Dean Any Student who wishes to substitute one subject for another must apply for permission to do so before such change can be considered valid Changes in Courses already approved should not be made without good reason As the College and University Sessions begin in October and the Courses are continuous throughout the Session it is important that all Regular Students should -enter the College in October Students who wish to take the Special Intermediate Examination in June must have commenced their Courses before October 31st of the previous year Students are eligible to become members of the Common Rooms on application to the Secretary of the Common Rooms The King's College Review is published four times year once
