FACULTY OF ENGINEERING 231 PHYSICS Experimental Physics Yt -Intermediate Class Two lectures per week Heat Magnetism and Electricity Ys -Three hours per week Practical Work in Heat Magnetism and Electricity The Wheatstone Physical Laboratory Students who are desirous of acquiring further knowledge of any special branches have an opportunity of doing so under the superin- tendence of the Wheatstone Professor and the Demonstrators The Wheatstone Laboratory is open to Students from 10 to every day except Saturday for practical study and research in all branches of Physics CHEMISTRY Intermediate Lecture and Laboratory Y2 Classes are provided Whilst they are designed on broad lines an attempt is made to deal in more detail with those subjects of particular importance to engineers Lecture Course on the Chemistry of Metals combined with Laboratory Work Z2 will be held during the Michaelmas and Lent Terms for Third Year Electrical and Mechanical Engineering students Synopsis of Classes -Intermediate Lectures Two lectures per week Y2 -Intermediate Practical Class One half-day per week -Chemistry of Metals lst and 2nd Terms only One lecture per week Z2 -Chemistry of Metals Practical Class lst and 2nd Terms only Two hours per week
