168 faculty of natural science Subject to the approval of the Dean of the Faculty and of the Lecturer concerned Regular Student in this Faculty of the College may take any one Class in any other Faculty without extra tuition fee Apparatus Fees Students taking the Special Honours Course in Chemistry are provided with sets of apparatus for which they pay deposit of £8 8s in the second year and £12 12s in the third year These fees are returnable less hiring fee of £2 2s in the second year and £3 3s in the third year and any chargo for loss or breakages All Intermediate Students taking Chemistry pay deposit of £1 lis 6d for locker and apparatus supplied The fee is returnable at the end of the Intermediate Course less any charge for replacements Materials Fees For the use of ordinary materials Students pay fee of £1 Is per annum in respect of each laboratory attended in the First-Year Course and an inclusive fee of £3 3s per annum for each year of General Honours Course The fees for Special Honours Courses other than Mathematics are £4 4s per annum for Chemistry and £2 2s per annum for any other subject together with fee for the subsidiary subject of £2 2s per annum in the case of Chemistry and £1 Is per annum for any other subject Composition Fees for Post-Graduate Courses Sc in Mathematics For Registered Honours Graduates of the College £8 8s per annum or £14 14s for the complete course of two years For all other students £14 14s per annum or £22 Is for the complete course of two years Sc in other subjects including Laboratory work For Registered Honours Graduates of the College £15 15s per annum or £22 Is for the complete course of two years For all other students £22 Is per annum or £29 8s for the complete course of two years Post-graduate and Research students in Chemistry are required to pay deposit of £5 on commencing work at the College This fee is returnable less charges for loss or breakages of apparatus Ph For Registered Honours Graduates of the College £15 15s per annum For all other students £22 Is per annum The normal course extends over two years but for students required by the University to devote longer period to the course the annual fee will be so adjusted that the total amount payable is £31 10s under or £44 2s under
