FACULTY OF NATURAL SCIENCE 167 DOCTOR OP PHILOSOPHY Ph Students who have obtained the Se Degree and Graduates of other Universities may proceed to the Ph two-years' course of study is required in the methods of research Full particulars may be found in the Regulations issued by the University RESEARCH Facilities are offered in the various laboratories of the College for persons wishing to undertake Research INSTITUTE OF CHEMISTRY Students entering the Chemical Laboratory with the view of making Chemistry professional pursuit are recommended to prepare them- selves for the Examinations of the Institute of Chemistry of Great Britain and Ireland Students who are placed in the lst or 2nd Class in the Honours Examination in Chemistry of the University are eligible for the Associateship of the Institute of Chemistry on completion of years' course if 21 years of age FEES All Fees are Payable in Advance Registration Fee of £1 Is overseas students £2 2s is charged to each student upon acceptance by the Dean of the Faculty This Fee is deducted from the General Tuition Fees upon entry but in the event of non-entry it is forfeited Composition Fees for Regular Undergraduate Courses Tuition Fees including locker rent Intermediate Science -£36 15s per annum Sc General or Special except in Mathematics or Psychology £52 10s per annum Sc Special in Mathematics or Psychology -£35 14s per annum The Tuition Fees are reduced 20 per cent in the case of boys coming up from King's College School or Strand School provided they have attended at least five Terms in the School
