147 faculty of Haws Dean Mackay LL Vice-Dean Hussey-Griffith Students are prepared for the examinations of the University of London in the Faculty of Laws or are permitted at their option to attend any of the general lectures in Law or those on special subjects connected with the study of Law which are given from time to time in the College There is no entrance examination to the College but students who wish to enter for the University Law degree examinations must be admitted as students of the University and for this purpose they must pass the ordinary University Matriculation Examination unless They have already passed School Examination with exemption from the Matriculation Examination held by the University or They can claim exemption under the University Regulations -Graduates or persons who have passed an examination at another University and foreign students should apply to The External Registrar University of London South Kensing- ton for information as to exemptions Particulars with regard to the University Matriculation Examina- tion will be found on page 153 Special classes for the preparation of students for this Examination are held in the College both day and evening With the approval of the Senate of the University an arrange- ment has been come to between King's College University College and the School of Economics for combining the teaching in Law Under this Inter-Collegiate scheme day and evening courses for the Intermediate and Final Examinations for the LL degree have been arranged and for these Composition fees are charged The lectures are delivered at all three Colleges and students taking the evening course must be prepared to attend from three to four evenings week during Term time if they desire to take the complete course The three Colleges are Law School approved by the Law Society under the Solicitors Act 1922 and attendance at the courses of lectures at the three Colleges complies with the requirements of the Law Society as to attendance at course of Legal Education approved by that Society The lectures are open to External Students of the University of London on payment of the specified fees
