150 FACULTY OF LAWS PRIVILEGES OF STUDENTS OF KING'S COLLEGE Libraries Students who pay Composition fees become inter-Collegiate Law Students and as such are entitled to the use of the libraries at King's College University College and the School of Economics and to the other facilities offered by these Colleges to inter-Collegiate students The Law library at King's College is open during the Session from 10 to daily except on Saturdays when it is closed at Registered students of the University are entitled to admission to the University Library at South Kensington on the recommendation in writing of teacher of the University 2f Scholarships An Examination for three Entrance Scholarships tenable in the Faculty of Laws will be held on Tuesday September 28th 1926 and the following days One Scholarship will be tenable at each of the three Colleges The Scholarship will be of the value of £30 year if won by students intending to take the full time Day Course and of £20 year if won by students intending to take the Evening Course in Laws The Scholar- ship will be tenable for three years subject to the student making satisfactory progress The subjects for the Exami- nation will be English Essay ii English History iii Latin iv French or German or Pure Mathematics Successful candidates will be required to enter in the month of October following the Examination the College by which they are respectively elected and to pursue course of study in the Faculty of Laws approved by the authorities of that College Candidates must have passed the Matriculation Examination of the University of London or an Examination in lieu thereof and must not have begun course of study in the Faculty of Laws The Examination will be held at King's College Application for admission to the Examination must be made to University College on or before Monday September 20th 1926 Two scholarships of the value of £50 tenable for one year are offered by the University at the Final Honours Examination for the LL degree to Candidates who take subjects and and one other subject The Joseph Hume Scholarship University College in Jurisprudence of £20 is open to inter-Collegiate students of University College Two prizes are offered by the Quain Professor of Compara- tive Law University College one of £12 and one of £10 for the best essays on subjects connected with the lectures in Comparative Law and International Law respectively
