GENERAL INFORMATION 89 THE FACULTY OF EVENING STUDENTS Patron The Principal President Η Smith Arts Senior Woman Student Miss Hopkins Sc Hon Treasurer Martin Sc Hon Secretary Miss Roper Arts The Society was formed on April 28th 1924 at General Meeting of Evening Students The objects of the Society are to promote social intercourse amongst Evening Students to encourage and help students to join College societies and athletic clubs and to arrange means of recreation when possible Membership of the Society is open to all regular evening students on payment of Is year Occasional students must join the Union Society before becoming eligible for membership general meeting is held once term and social functions will be arranged twice year Commemoration Dinner will be held annually KING'S COLLEGE WIRELESS SOCIETY President Professor Ernest Wilson Chairman Cooper Sc Secretary Uttley Sc The Society was inaugurated in the Lent Term 1921 in order to bring together all students interested in Wireless Telegraphy Meetings are held frequently during the term when papers are read and general discussion invited room containing the necessary apparatus for Wireless Reception is at the service of members The Society is open to all past and present students of the College and to members of the teaching staff The subscription is Is per Term
