GENERAL INFORMATION 83 KING'S COLLEGE MUSICAL SOCIETY President Gladstone Secretary Miss Finch Arts Treasurer Hellicab Arts The Society is open to all past and present students and members of the staff of the College The main object of the Society is the encouragement of vocal and instrumental music in the College and choral and orchestral practices are held each week throughout the term The annual subscription is Is KING'S COLLEGE DRAMATIC SOCIETY President Turnbull Arts Secretary Miss Mills Arts The Society which is open to all students of the College was formed in June 1919 and was affiliated to the Union Society in January 1921 Among other objects the Society aims at producing play during Commemoration Week Members of the Society are entitled to two tickets at half-price Subscription 2s 6d per annum KING'S COLLEGE PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY President Professor Goedon Sc The Society provides dark room chemicals and enlarging apparatus for the use of Members Ordinary Meetings are held during the Winter at which lectures and demonstrations are given competition is held once year The subscription is Is per Term The Society is open to both Staff and Students KING'S COLLEGE CHESS CLUB President Slack Arts Captain Slack Arts Secretary Archell Sc Games are played in Room 17 Î’ on Tuesdays and Thursdays from onwards when all chess-players experienced or beginners will be welcome
