56 SCHOLARSHIPS AND EXHIBITIONS 5econt Ji ear IbeMcal Scbolarsbip One Scholarship of £20 tenable for one year is offered annually All Medical Students may compete for the Scholarship at the end of their second Winter and Summer Medical Sessions The following are the subjects of the examinations Elementary Anatomy Elementary Physiology and Histology Organic Chemistry including Practical Work The Scholarship can be held only so long as the Scholar continues to attend Lectures as regular Student in King's College The payments for the Scholarship are made in equal parts at the end of each of the Michaelmas Lent and Easter Terms after the election on production to the Secretary of certificates of good conduct and satisfactory progress in his studies signed by the Dean Scholars NOTE Up to 1906 there were Senior Second Tear and Junior Scholarships From 1906-1909 there were Senior Third Year and Second Year Scholarships From 1911 only Second Year Scholarship is offered For the names of those elected before 1923 see previous Calendars 1923 Muende Isaac 1925 Itobbs Louisa Sheppnrd 1924 Not awarded Parkes Keren Isabel Sambroofee Scbolarsbip Scholarship of £30 per annum for three years will be offered to candidates entering the Faculty of Medical Science Candidates must be under 19 years of age on July 1st in the year of election The Scholarship is open to men and women The subjects of the examination are -Either four of the follow- ing English History Latin Greek French German Pure Mathe- matics or four of the following Pure Mathematics Applied Mathematics Physics Chemistry Botany Zoology The holder of this Scholarship must attend at King's College for the preliminary and intermediate medical studies and at King's College Hospital for the subjects of the final examination The next examination will be held on April 20th by the London Inter-Collegiate Scholarships Board Candidates should apply to Mr Ranner Secretary of the Board King's College Hospital School Denmark Hill for form of entry which must be sent in by March 27th Scholar 1924 Kaye David William Stuart 1925 Showon Moses
