SCHOLARSHIPS AND EXHIBITIONS Π Physiology at the end of each year and may if they consider it necessary decline to renew the Studentship Payment of the emoluments of the Studentship will be made in three equal instalments at the end of each term on receipt of satisfactory certificate of attendance and progress from the Professor of Physiology In any publication of results obtained during the tenure of the Studentship it shall be stated that the author is-or was-the Berridge Student of King's College IV -FACULTY OF MEDICAL SCIENCE Morsles Scholarships Founded in 1834 by Major-General Sir Henry Worsley for the education of Medical Missionaries proceeding to British India These Scholarships are administered by the Council of King's College Candidates must be members of the Church of England The Scholarships are of the value of £100 paid in five annual instalments of £20 and are open to both men and women The Scholar receives his Medical education at University of London King's College and at King's College Hospital free and is admitted free to all Theological lectures in the Department of Theology King's College scholar must on election obtain security for the purpose of ensuring that he will proceed as Missionary to India when his education is completed Worsley scholar is not eligible to hold any other Scholarship in the College but may compete for prizes The Scholar must pursue in the Medical Faculty regular course for obtaining qualification recognised by the General Medical Council The Scholar must attend for three years the general lectures in Theology provided for all students in the College and pass the annual examinations He may attend any other lectures given in the Theological Faculty The emoluments and all privileges of this Scholarship may be forfeited if in the opinion of the Council the conduct of the Scholar or his work either in Theology or Medicine is unsatisfactory Applications accompanied by testimonials should be addressed to the Dean King's College Strand Scholars For the names of those elected before 1923 see previous Calendars 1923 Farrow Edward Stanley Fellowes 1924 Ledger Sidney Raymond 1925 No award
