48 SCHOLARSHIPS AND EXHIBITIONS The Scholar must pursue in the Medical Faculty regular course for obtaining qualification recognised by the General Medical Council The Scholar must attend for three years the general lectures in Theology provided for all students in the College and pass the annual examinations He may attend any other lectures given in the Theological Faculty The emoluments and all privileges of this scholarship may be forfeited if in the opinion of the Council the conduct of the Scholar or his work either in Theology or Medicine is unsatisfactory Applications accompanied by testimonials should be addressed to the Dean King's College Strand Scholars For the names of those elected previously to 192 sec former Calendars 1923 Farrow Edward Stanley Fellowes 1924 Ledger Sidney Raymond 1925 No award II -FACULTY OF ARTS Sambroofte Scbolarsbip in Classics One Scholarship of £30 per annum for three years given out of the Sambrooke Trust is offered annually to the candidate who shows the greatest merit in an Examination in Classics The Scholarship is open to both men and women LTndergraduate students of the College are eligible provided they have not been registered for more than three Terms The following are the subjects of the examination -Latin Greek and the writing of an English Essay The successful Candidate if not already student of the College will be required to enter the Faculty of Arts at the College as an internal student of the University of London in the October next following the examination with the understanding that he will proceed to an Honours Degree in the University of London The payments will be made in nine terminal instalments pro- vided the Student continues in attendance as Regular Student in the Day Classes and produces to the Secretary at the end of each Term Certificate of good conduct and of satisfactory progress in his studies Scholars For the names of those elected previously to 1923 see formtr Calendars 1923 Κ Latimer 1924 Mot awarded 19 25 Horue Arthur Stanley
