FACULTY OF ENGINEERING 225 Electrical Measuring Instruments -The elements of design and the construction and use of practical continuous current and alternating current indicating recording and integrating instruments Fee -Lent Term £7 17s Michaelmas and Easter Terms £18 18s ADVANCED COURSES IN ENGINEERING Advanced Courses suitable for those who have already completed Diploma or Degree Course in Engineering have been arranged as follows each Course occupies Student's whole time for Session Post-graduate Course in Mechanical Engineering ii Post-graduate Course in Civil Engineering iii Post-Graduate Course in Electrical Engineering -An Advanced Course in Mechanical Engineering course of Instruction in Mechanical Engineering will be given under the supervision of Prof Gilbert Cook Sc LMech Inst CE The Course is intended for post-Graduate and other qualified Students and can be varied to suit the special requirements of the individual Student It also forms suitable addition for Students who have completed the regular three years' Course in Engineering at King's College -An Advanced Course in Civil Engineering course of instruction in Civil Engineering will be given under the supervision of Professor Jameson Se Inst Inst Water Engs The Course is intended for Post-Graduate and other qualified Students and can be varied to suit the special requirements of the individual Student The Students attend Courses of instruction in Surveying Hydraulics and Theory of Structures treated with special reference to the problems connected with Civil Engineering together with Design Laboratory and Fieldwork Classes Special Lectures will be given as required on the Location Design Construction and Maintenance of Public Works with the economic problems and specifications involved
