192 FACULTY OF MEDICAL SCIENCE -Practical Physiology Junior-W and F12-11 Michaelmas Experimental Physiology and 11-12 Lent Chemical Physiology Senior-Tu 4-5 30 and 3-4 30 This Course is divided into Experimental Physiology which is held during the Michaelmas Term and Chemical Physiology which is held in the Lent Term Y3 -Histology Lectures Tu and 10-11 Th 30 Easter Practical Tu and 11-1 Th 30-4 30 Easter The practical work is arranged to accompany the Lectures Each Student must provide himself with set of minor accessory instru- ments but the microscopes and materials including slides are supplied in the laboratory Tutorial Classes-Primary Tu 3-4 Th 11-12 2-3 throughout the Session These classes are designed to assist Students preparing for immediate examinations up to the standard of the Primary Students preparing for the latter examination are strongly advised to take all the Senior practical classes if they have not already done so and to attend the lecture demonstrations which they may do without extra fee Physiology for Dental Students separate course is held for Dental Students Times to be arranged -Research etc The laboratory is available to all who wish to carry out original investigations and instruction will be given to those who require it Details may be obtained from the Professor Sc Hons Physiology Special facilities are given to selected medical students who wish to take this degree which they may do on completion of their 2nd examination and before they commence their hospital work This course is recommended to those who are likely later to seek appoint- ments in the many allied branches of medical science PHARMACOLOGY MATERIA MEDICA AND THERAPEUTICS Head of the Department Inchley Lecturer This Department is for the teaching of Pharmacology Materia Medica and General Therapeutics The Materia Medica Museum is designed for the use of Students and is open to them throughout the day Two Courses of Instruction in Pharmacology are given one in the
