FACULTY OF NATURAL SCIENCE 177 Courses have also been arranged in connection with the London Day Training College and the School of Economics to meet the University Regulations with regard to the Academic Diploma in Psychology Particulars can bo obtained from the Head of the Department ANTHROPOLOGY Head of the Department Professor Edward Barclay Smith Ch Cantab Students desirous of taking the Honours Sc degree are required to devote one year either after passing the Inter or after ob- taining the degree to the work of the curriculum as given in the Calendar of the University of London Course of Inter-collegiate and Laboratory Work is provided see University Calendar The subjects taken at King's College are- Practical Vertebrate iCnatomy Special Lectures on subject to be afterwards intimated Course of Practical Embryology Anthropology Courses of instruction in Physical Anthropology for the Sc in Anthropology are arranged as follows Physical Anthropology by Professor Barclay-Smith and Dr Gladstone during the Summer Term lectures and practical work at suitable hours Practical Vertebrate Embryology by Professor Dendy Psychology Attendance at portions of the Courses in Elementary and General Psychology Dr Francis Aveling See Psychology For those who are not Students of Medicine Preliminary Course of instruction in Anatomy including Osteology and Surface Anatomy must be taken during the Winter Session preceding attendance in the class of Anthropology GERMAN Lecturer Haltenhoff Course for Students who wish to acquire as rapidly as possible such knowledge of German as will enable them to read scientific works in that language Elementary Monday 5-6 Advanced Friday 5-6 Μ
