88 FACULTY OF ARTS Michaelmas Term Introduction and Article Lent Term Articles II -VI Easter Term Articles VII -XII The Barry יי Prize in this Faculty is awarded at Mid- summer to the Matriculated Student who passes the best examination in Divinity irrespective of the year to which he belongs No one can gain this Prize more than once GREEK Warr Professor Hetherington Lecturer The subjects of these Lectures are the works of the be6t Latin and Greek writers and Greek and Latin Composition both in Prose and Verse with special reference to the Examinations of the University of London Besides the work which is done in the Lecture Room the Students are expected to prepare given portion of Roman and Greek History for each College Examination as well as an additional Classical subject Special arrangements are made for Students who are reading for the Higher Examinations of the University of London for Open Scholarships at Oxford or Cambridge or for the Previous Examination at Cambridge and Responsions at Oxford Professor Warr Lectures on Ancient History and Literature Wednesday may also be attended by Matricu- lated Students of this Department without extra fee Elementary Th 12 Text-Boohs Euripides Hecuba Grammar II London University Interm Class Th 11 Text Books Grammar &c Plato Ion Sophocles Antigone III London Univ Class Th 10 Text-Books Aristophanes' Vespae Thucydides Book II Fees -Each Class £2 3s per Term or £b 5s per annum
