xxii BYE-LAWS Conscience Clause for Students ι β ι Λ Μ Κ Μ Λ י י 17 If the Parent or Guardian of any Student shall state in writing that he has conscientious objection to the attend- ance of such Student at the Divine Service of the Church of England or to his receiving Religious Instruction according to the principles of the Church of England or if any Student of full age shall state such objection in writing such Student shall be exempted from attendance at Chapel and at the Divinity Lectures and shall not be debarred by reason of such exemption from any Scholarship or Exhibition or from the Associateship or from any privilege to which other Students can be admitted by the Council but this Bye-law shall not apply to Students of the Theological Faculty Bye Laws to he confirmed at following meeting of the Council 18 No new Bye-law nor any alteration in the existing Bye-laws shall be valid unless the same be adopted at one meeting of the Council after notice and confirmed at follow- ing meeting of the Council and unless the summons for such last-mentioned Meeting contain Copy of the new Bye-law or of the proposed alteration
