faculty of theology 61 Before the commencement of Term Candidates for admission must send to the Principal on printed form to be obtained from the Secretary of the College an application stating their age and other circumstances and containing Certificate of good moral and religious character from the Clergyman of their parish or of the church which they have usually attended as well as the names of one or more friends to whom the Candidate is well known as referees Previously to Matriculation each Student must declare that he is member of the Church of England and that he will conform to all the rules and regulations of the College RULES AS TO ADMISSION The following are the rules under which Students are admitted to this Faculty Graduates in Arts of all British Universities Having produced evidence of their Degree Having also shown sufficient knowledge of The Contents of the Bible The Greek Text of any Book of the New Testament are admitted as Matriculated Students and may obtain the Theological Testamur and Associateship of the College after three Academical Terms in the Morning Classes The Examinations of Graduates for admission will be at 10 on Wednesday October 1898 Wednesday January 18 1899 and Wednesday April 26 1899 Persons in Deacon's Orders will be admitted under similar conditions All persons of the required age see General Rules of Admission who after having presented satisfactory testimo- niale to the Principal shall have passed the Entrance Examination for Non-Graduates as required by the Bishops according to the following directions There shall be an Entrance Examination conducted by Central Board of Examiners which shall be required in the case of Non-Graduates as condition of their entering upon final course of two years1 study in Theological College
