58 athletic club ATHLETIC CLUB The Council have taken large piece of land close to Wormwood Scrubbs Station as recreation ground for the College and an Athletic Club has been formed for its management All Matriculated Students are Members of the Club and entitled to its privileges Non-Matriculated Students will be admitted on payment of 10s 6d for each Academical Year The College Ground is under the control of the Athletic Club Committee and the College Athletic Sports are held annually in the Easter Term COLLEGE SOCIETIES The Theological Engineering Medical and Day Training Students have each Common Room allotted to them in the College where the meetings of the various Societies are held The following Societies have been formed Theological Society Missionary Guild General Literature Society Society of Education Engineering Society Medical Society Literary and Debating Society Volunteer Medical Staff Corps King's College and Hospital Christian Union King's College Civil Service Club For further information see end of Calendar or apply to the Secretaries of the Societies
