54 museums ι trative Diagrams Drawings and Photos of the principal buildings under the various styles is open to Students during Term The Museum also contains the valuable original drawings made by the late Sir Gilbert Scott and under his direction for his Royal Academy Lectures presented by Oldrid Scott also the drawings of Weatherley special Lending Library of Books relating to Architec- ture and Building Construction is open for the use of Matriculated Students natural history and medical museum Hugh Playfair Curator The Museums comprise Anatomy Human and Com- parative Healthy and Morbid Materia Medica Mineralogy Geology and other branches of Natural History also Collections of Diagrams for illustrating the Lectures on these various subjects The Pathological Collection is very complete and includes large number of preparations which were presented by the late Dr Hooper and Green Esq and is being continually added to by the Professors old pupils and other friends of the College The collection of specimens illustrating the comparative anatomy of animals is extensive though still requiring many additions to make it complete type collection Additional specimens will be gratefully acknowledged by the Curator The Materia Medica Collection large portion of which was presented by the Worshipful Company of Apothecaries by the late Sir Halford Bart by Messrs Savory Moore and Messrs Howard is kept up to date Students wishing to handle any of the specimens must obtain an order which must be signed by the Dean of the Faculty the Curator having authority to withhold such permission if he think necessary
