494 PRIZES PEIZES Richard Chenevix Trench having presented to the College the sum of 156 this sum has been invested in London and North Western Railway per cent Debenture Stock ×™×™ The interest is given annually in one Prize of Books The Prize is open to Matriculated Students of all Faculties of the College who have been in attendance during any one of the three preceding terms No one can obtain this Prize twice and no Prize will be given except for absolute merit The next Examination will be held on Saturday May 1900 in the subjects appointed for the current year in the New Testament for the Preliminary Examination of Candidates for Holy Orders Names of Candidates must be sent to the Secretary of the College before o'clock on Thursday April 26 Names of Prizemen 1874 Shears Edward Penney William Henry 1873 Geldart Ernest Gillespie Charles George Knox 1872 Gordon Charles Dickens 1871 Hannum James Edward Greaves James Meer 5s Edward
