45 The following are the dates of the commencement and termination of the terms in 1899-1900 Faculties of Theology Arts Science and La 10 Commencement Termination Michaelmas Term Oct Dec 21 Lent Jan 18 April Easter Ap 26 July Faculty of Medicine Winter Session Oct March 23 Summer Session May July 20 Ladies' Department Michaelmas Term Oct 16 Dec 22 Lent Jan 22 March 30 Easter Ap 30 July School Michaelmas Term Sept 20 Dec 20 Lent Jan 17 April 11 Easter May Aug Now students are admitted on the day previous to the commencement of the Term except in the Michaelmas Term when the admission is two days before New pupils in the School are admitted on the day previous to the opening of the School Ash Wednesday Ascension Day Whitsun Monday and the days appointed for the celebration of the Queen's and Prince of Wales's Birthdays are kept as Holidays in the College and School The Associateship of the College may be obtained under the rules laid down for the different Faculties The Oftice is open daily from 10 to o'clock except on Saturdays when it closes at Communications should be addressed to the Secretary King's College Strand London
