452 ASSOCIATESHli This period is reduced to six Terms in the case of those who have previously passed three Terms in the Faculty of Arts and have passed the Matricu lation Examination of the University of London or who have passed two years previously in King's College School and who had spent at least one Term in the highest class before leaving it or who after leaving the College have graduated at Oxford Cam- bridge Dublin or Durham Students wishing to claim the advantage under clauses and must make written application to the Secretary at the time of entrance to this Faculty and if the claim is allowed they will be reckoned as Fourth Term Students Must produce proof of proficiency in study as evinced by either Two Certificates of Distinction gained in different subjects one of which must be in the third year's course One Certificate of Distinction and four Certificates of Merit gained in different subjects provided that the Certificate of Distinction be gained in the 2nd or 3rd year course and that one at least of the Certificates of Merit be obtained in each of the other years Having gained the Degree of Sc at the University of London Such Professional distinction after leaving King's College as shall be deemed sufficient by the Principal and the Board of the Division Must unless exempted on account of conscientious objections or for some other special reason have been regular in his attendance at the Divinity Lectures and must have passed the periodical Examinations in this subject satis- factorily
