ASSOCIATESSlf 451 δ Students wishing to claim the advantage under clauses and II must make written application to the Secretary at the time of entrance to this Faculty and if the claim is allowed they will be reckoned as Fourth Term Students Must produce proof of proficiency in study as evinced by either- Having gained the degree of at the University of London Having passed examinations at the end of three consecutive academical years in all subjects included in either group or group ii and in one other of the five groups specified and obtained either two certificates distinction in two distinct groups or one of distinction and four of merit at the Examina- tions for the second and third year Students held at the end of the Easter Term Must unless exempted on account of conscientious objections or for some special reason have been regular in his attendance at the Divinity Lectures and have passed the periodical Examinations in this subject satisfactorily Must apply on printed form to be obtained in the College Office to the Dean of the Faculty not later than June 15 stating the claims and qualifications which he then possesses fee of £1 Is is charged for the Diploma An Associate cannot be elected Scholar or obtain Prize in the Faculty in which he gained his Associateship III Faculty of Science -Division of Natural Science Every Candidate for this distinction Must have pursued his studies as Matriculated-Student of this FacuTty for nine Terms The groups referred to are Classics ii Mathematics iii English Language and Literature Modern History iv Two modern languages with their literatures viz either French German Italian or Spanish Logic Mental and Political Philosophy Theory of Education
