374 THft SCHOOL He must produce to the Principal before he takes otit his card of admission Certificate signed by the Head Master That during at least the two preceding Terms his conduct has been good ύ That he has been diligent in his studies and made fair progress That he is really deserving of admission and may be expected to profit by the College curriculum II All Pupils who have been Two Years in the School have attained the age of sixteen and have passed at least one Term in the highest Class of the Classical Division are allowed by making application to the Secretary on entering the Faculty of Arts in the College to take rank as Students of the Fourth Term The same rule applies to Pupils entering the Natural Science Division of the Faculty of Science who have passed at least One Term in the highest Class of the Modern Division This privilege enables such Student to gain the Associate 5hip of the College in Two instead of in Three Years III Reduction of Fees to the amount of 20 per cent is made in favour of boys who pass from the School into the College as Matriculated Students after having spent at least Five Terms in the School XIII SCHOLARSHIPS AND EXHIBITIONS GENERAL RULES Good conduct and regular attendance are indispensable for the admission of any Pupil to be candidate for Scholarship or Exhibition in King's College School II Every Scholarship and Exhibition is held subject to these conditions and is liable to forfeiture for misconduct III In case there should be no candidate of sufficient merit in any year the Scholarship of that year will not be awarded
