FACULTY OF MEDICINE 263 Should vacancy occur in any office held by Student at the Hospital except those of Senior or Junior House Physician or Physician-Accoucheurs Assistant it will be announced as vacant and be filled up for the unexpired term in the usual way ן ft י f'f ך Out-Patient Medical Clerks -There shall be sixteen Out- Patient Medical Clerks four for each Assistant-Physician and for the Assistant-Physician for Diseases of Women The Clerks shall attend regularly at the respective hours and on the days of the Physician under whom they are appointed They shall register and prescribe in turn for the Out-Patients under the direction of their respective Physicians The Clerks to the Assistant Physician for the Diseases of Women shall when they have become instructed by attending lectures on Midwifery take part with the Assistant House Accoucheur and the Clerks to the Physician for Diseases of Women and Children in attending Midwifery cases In-Patient Medical Clinical Clerks -There shall be twrelve Medical 111-Patient Clinical Clerks Candidates must have served the office of Out-Patient Clerk for the period of six months unless specially exempted by the Dean Medical In-Patient Clinical Clerks shall attend daily except Sundays in the wards at 10 they shall keep full and correct report of all the cases belonging to the Physician under whom they respectively serve they shall accompany the Physician during his visit In every medical case upon which post-mortem exami- nation is held the Clerk under whose care the patient has been shall immediately before the holding of such examination furnish an abstract of the case to the Pathological Registrar In all such cases the Clerk shall add transcript of the post-mortem notes to his record of the case In-Patient Clinical Clerks for Physician-Accoucheur -There shall be four 111-Patient Clinical Clerks for the Physician for diseases of Women and Children
