FACULTY OF MEDICINE 259 VIII No one is to be re-elected to second year of office unless the Committee of the Hospital shall certify to his good conduct in the Hospital during his past year of service and the Dean of the Medical Faculty to the proper discharge of his duties during the same period IX The appointment of Registrars is vested in the Council of King's College London The Registrars are to attend daily except Sundays at the Hospital and are to see that their names are duly entered on the attendance sheet of the Medical and Surgical Staff XI Each Registrar is to record at the least during each year of his service Ten Cases of an important character severally noted and prepared for publication Η XII After these cases have been examined by the Physician or Surgeon they are to be certified by the Dean and maybe published XIII The expense of the books and papers necessary to carry out the objects and intentions herein expressed is to be paid for out of the surplus income arising from the Endow- ment Fund after payment of the sum due to the two Registrars and in case there be at any time any surplus over 100Z the same may be invested as convenient for increasing the Endowment Fund XIV The Registrars are also appointed Medical and Surgical Tutors for their term of office Candidates for these offices must send in their names ac- ccmpanied in the case of application for re-appointment by the Certificates named in Regulation VII to the Secretary of the College before the 1st of October in each year and those elected Registrars must enter on their duties on the 1st of November following
