ו 258 faculty of MEDiCINE Sambrooke jftfutfcal an& Surgical Ifccgtstratsjupg These Registrarships were founded May 10 1867 by Thomas Godfrey Sambrooke Esq of 32 Eaton Place יי- In the hope of benefiting and with the desire of in- creasing the usefulness of that most admirable institution King's College London with the hospital in intimate con- Ci nexion therewith in the which have always taken and continue to feel so deep an interest as well as with view to the advancement and adding to the general usefulness of Medical Science regulations Two Registrarships are established one for Medical and the other Surgical cases II The Registrars must not hold any other appointment or occupy themselves in any public duty in or out of the College or Hospital except with the consent of the Council III £50 year if the amount of interest be sufficient will be paid to each Registrar or if the total sum received by the College in year be less than £100 each Registrar shall receive half of such total sum IV Each appointment is to be made for period of one year the holder to be eligible for re-election to the same appointment for another year and under special circum- stances for such further period of years as the Council shall in each case determine No one is to be appointed Registrar under the age of twenty-one years VI Every Candidate must have held House Appoint- ment at King's College Hospital or some office of equal importance in the College or Hospital or be an Associate of King's College VII Every Candidate must produce certificates from the Committee of the Hospital of good conduct and from the Dean of the Medical Faculty of having satisfactorily performed his duties whilst holding any of the above appointments
