EVENING CLASSES 219 SPECIAL CLASSES ft '4 In conjunction with the Technical Education Board of the London County Council י ι Ί ן י Winter Session 1899-1900 Advanced Evening Science Classes Civil Engineering by Professor Robinson Inst on Mondays from to commencing on Monday October The Course will consist of about Twenty Lectures which will as far as time permits treat of the following subjects-Water Supply River Works Retaining Walls Masonry and other Dams Foundations Bridges and Roofs Sewerage and Sewage Disposal Harbours Railways Canals Municipal Works Part of the time will be spent in working out Engineering Calculations by Graphical Methods Mechanical Engineering by Professor Capper Inst and Mr Η Waynforth Course of about Twenty Demonstrations on Thursday evenings to upon Steam and Gas Engines and General Laboratory Work commencing on October 12 The latter portion of each evening will be devoted to experimental and practical work in the Engineering Laboratory in illustration of the lectures This class will be limited to twenty Students Electrical Engineering by Professor Wilson Special Course of Lectures on Alternating Currents will be given on Monday evenings at 30 beginning October followed by Class for practical work in connection with the above in the Siemen's Electrical Laboratory
