212 beniner Classes Classes for Evening Instruction are held in connection with the Faculties of Theology Arts and Science and the Departments of Bacteriology and Public Health and are intended to provide similar instruction to that given in the day-time for those unable to attend the Day Classes but who wish to carry on their general education or to prepare for the various Examinations in Arts Science Laws and Music of the University of London or to fit themselves for the various professions in connection with Engineering Archi- tecture and other applied Sciences Evening Class Students are eligible to compete for the following Prizes and Certificates for proficiency are given under the Rules in force in the various Faculties Examina- tions are held at the close of the Winter Session Three Prizes in Science given by the Cloth workers Company of the value of £5 each Prizes given by the Clothworkers Company Prize of £2 105 in Books for Metal Work £2 10s in Books for Wood Work Medals and Book Prizes given by the Carpenters' Company for Architectural History Building Construction Quantities Constructional Drawing Architectural Studio Wood Carving Faudel-Phillips Medal for Sanitary Construction Jelf Medal Class Certificates
