bacteriology 153 Î’ Private Study Admission to the Laboratory is given for private study in Bacteriological Methods under the supervision of and with the occasional assistance of the Professor and Demonstrators In this case all the necessary materials and reagents and instruments will be supplied including microscope and its accessories Fee for admission for one month Five Guineas Bacteriology op Fermentation Special assistance will be given to meet the requirements of Agriculturists Brewers Analysts and Chemists Syllabus op Work The Microscope and Histological Technique The Culti- vation of Micro-organisms The Biology of Yeasts Un- organised and Organised Ferments High and Low Fermen- tation Impure Yeasts Diseases of Wine and Beer Nitri- fication Fee for admission for one month Five Guineas Complete Practical Course of Bacteriology Post-Graduate Practical Courses and Course for Diploma in Public Health Admission to the Laboratory is given for one month during the summer and winter sessions for complete course of practical bacteriology In this case all the necessary materials and apparatus and instruments are supplied includ- ing microscope and its accessories Fee is Five Guineas for one month or Eight Guineas for two months This course of Two Months complies with the regulations for obtaining the Diploma in Public Health of the various Universities and other Medical Licensing Bodies for candi- dates registered under the Medical Act subsequent to the 1st of January 1890 This course in the Bacteriological Labora- tory is followed by four months in the State Medicine Laboratory Professor Smith The two courses
