j36 faculty of science Machines Electric Lighting Storage of Electrical Energy Absolute Measurement of Currents Resistances &c Thermo-Electricity the Electric Telegraph Testing of Submarine Cables Class III -Saturday 10-1 This Class is in preparation fur the Sc London Examination Fee £2 2s per Term or £5 5s per Annum There are special classes of practical work suitable for Students preparing for the Preliminary Scientific and Sc Examinations of the University of London for the Exanii- nations of the Institute of Chemistry and for Electrical Engineering Candidates for Degrees in Music may follow course of practical work on Sound and the vibrations ο bodies In addition to the regular Fees Matriculated Students pay 10s 6d Term or 255 per Annum to cover the ordinary expenses of materials and apparatus in the Laboratories This sum must be paid in the College Office on entrance to the Class The Wheatstone Laboratory is open to Students from to every day except Saturday and on Saturday from 10 to for practical study and research in all branches of Physics Laboratory Fees- Days Week £4 4s per Term or £10 10s per Annum δ £8 £21 10 £10 6s £25 Saturday Morning Class for Tea hers Saturdays 10-1 in Winter Session In conjunction with the Technical Education Board of the London County Council Practical Work in the Wheatstone Laboratory the object of the instruction being to enable students to obtain an intimate knowledge of the methods employed in physical measurements and familiarity with tho use of apparatus The Class will be limited to twenty students Free to Teachers recommended by the Technical Education Board
