FACULTY OF ARTS 97 on the German subjects set for the Examination for Honours at the University of London Individual attention will be paid to all the Students and special help will be given to those who prepare for any of the public or competitive Examinations or for the teaching profession Fees -Each Class £2 2s per Term or £5 5s per ann Class for the study of Middle High-German will be formed in the Day-time or in the Evening if sufficient number of Students present themselves The Professor will receive the written work of the Students in both Classes and return it corrected The Professor gives Prize to the Student who has most distinguished himself in his German studies during the academical year by steady work and attention In the Department for Training Teachers in Second- ary Schools the Professor will besides imparting to the Students theoretical knowledge of German also explain the method to be followed in teaching the language to classes From time to time the Students will be called upon to show at the class how they would teach the subjects imparted to them Evening Classes Tu and Fri 6-7 This Class will be only formed if six students at least enter Fee £1 Is per Term ITALIAN Napoleone Perini Professor Senior Class Tu 7-8 Grammar and Idioms from Perini's Italian Conversation Grammar" Hachette Reading -Prose Azeglio "Ettore Fieramosca and Dante's La Vita Nuova Perini's edition with notes in English Hachette Poeti-y Dante's La Divina Commedia
