faculty of arts 83 SYLLABUS OF COLLEGE CLASSES DIVINITY Rev Robertson Principal Rev Newsom Vice-Principal Non-Matriculated Students will be allowed to attend the lectures on Religious Instruction without fee on applica- tion to the Principal or the Vice-Principal All Matriculated Students attend these lectures unless exempted on account of conscientious objections or for some special reason Students of the first year attend the Lectures of the Vice- Principal those of the second and third year the Lectures 01 the Principal Feci 15-2 The Principal will lecture on The Ethical Teaching of the Bible Wed 15-2 The Vice-Principal will lecture on "The Christian Creed and its Evidences The Articles of the Creed will be treated in succession and will be discussed historically with special view to current objections Michaelmas Term Introduction and Article Lent Term Articles II -VI Easter Term Articles VII -XII The Barry" Prize in this Faculty is awarded at Mid- summer to the Matriculated Student who passes the best examination in Divinity irrespective of the year to which he belongs No one can gain this Prize more than once
