exclusively with the Matriculation Syllabus Students taking any other optional science subjects are arranged for by the respective Professors Students not members of the Matric- ulation Class pay guinea term for attendance at these Lectures The time spent by Student in the Matriculation Class is counted in the five terms of attendance which in King's College School entitles to the reduction of fees amounting to 20 per cent on matriculating into any of the Faculties of the College The attendance in the Class is counted also in the attendance required to qualify for the Associateship The members of the Matriculation Class are admitted to the privileges of the Athletic Club and to Competition for the College Scholarships Exhibitions and Prizes on the same terms as the other Students of the College The Class is constantly practised in written examinations and the results are periodically sent to the parents or the guardians of the Students Each Student upon joining the Class is put through Preliminary Examination in which his proficiency is tested in Latin in the second language that he selects and in Elementary Mathematicsi The Class is wholly under the charge of the Matriculation Class Master who makes himself responsible for the books work and numerical exercises connected with the science subject selected by the Student For the Regulations of the Examination Students should apply to the Registrar University of London Burlington Gardens This Class is also suitable for Students intending to enter the various Faculties of the College
