in REPORT lie above figures are presented ווו new form the theo- logical candidates' class and tbe evening classes in arte being no longer reckoned as 11 matriculated students while tbe very large correspondence classes held in connec- tion with the Civil Service Department are this year omitted from the return The result is that the steady improvement in numbers in most departments of the College is not made as apparent as it ini ht have been on the other hand comparison will be more easily made in future years Attention is drawn to the increase of 168 in 41 non-ina- triculated students not including ladies These students are in many cases doing the very highest work and it is satisfactory to note that the greater part of the increase is in the morning classes The following is list of the successes of students of the College in the examinations of the University of London during the past year Honours or first division Matriculation 18 Prelim Sc entire Intermediate Med Sc Μ Β State Medicine The Associateship of the College was granted to 47 students viz 30 in Theology in Arts evening classes in Engineering 10 in Medicine
