THE SCHOOL 397 In all Scholarships and Exhibitions in which the rules as to payment require attendance at any College or Univer- sity continuous residence or attendance is required and if such attendance be omitted in any Term or Session the Scholarship or Exhibition will be forfeited unless the Scholar or Exhibitioner notifies his absence with the causes thereof to the Council either beforehand or at the latest at the beginning of the Term he is intending to be absent and forwards certificate of sanction to such absence from the Head of his College or the proper University authority ×™ VI The payments for the Inglis Forest and Mathematical Scholarships and for the Sambrooke Exhibitions are made in Terminal instalments at the end of each Term beginning with the Term in which the Scholar enters either one of the Faculties of King's College London or at the Univer- sities of Oxford Cambridge or Durham provided that he enters within one year of terminating his studies in the School and has continued in regular attendance at such College Certificate of Attendance and good conduct will be required each Term from the Dean or Tutor VII The amount due may be applied for in the Secretary's office any day succeeding the second Friday in the months of January April and July VIII Anv Scholar desirous of obtaining Certificate of having gained Scholarship may obtain the same from the Secretary on payment of the fee prescribed by the Council
