faculty of medicine 229 110 has conscientious objection but exemptions may be granted by the Principal in special cases The Barryיי Prize is awarded to the Matriculated Student who passes the best examination in Divinity irre- spective of the year to which he belongs No one can receive this Prize more than once ANATOMY Alfred Hughes Professor Cadman Demonstrator The following Courses of Lectures and Practical Work will be given during the Winter and Summer Sessions Systematic Lectures daily at 10 descriptive of the structure of the human body together with an account of the relations of its more important parts especially in their bearing on Medicine and Surgery Supplemental Lectures and Demonstrations will be given during the Summer Session on parts not dealt with fully during the Winter Session including the organs of special sense and embryology These are free to Students who have attended the previous Winter's Course II Practical Anatomy -The Dissecting Room will be open daily from to Saturdays to 12 The Students will be directed and assisted by the Pro- lessor and Demonstrators Limited Dissecting Room Tutorial Classes will also be held at stated periods III Course of Demonstrations will be given on re- cently dissected parts preparations and models This Course will consist mainly of regional and applied Anatomy Medical and Surgical together with demonstra- tions of surface Anatomy on the living subject IV Examinations -Written and oral Examinations will be conducted at intervals during the Session Classes in advanced Anatomy are arranged for Students intending to present themselves for the Primary Fellowship Examination of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the intermediate Examination of the University of London
